PORDENONE. Massimo Paci’s rock soul for Pordenone. The neroverde team will be coached by a great fan of this musical genre who, in his spare time, does not disdain playing the guitar. In the wardrobe, among the various models available, there is a historical space such as the Fender Telecaster and an Esp. Tastes that testify to the tough character of the coach from the Marches, suitable for a training that will have to fight tooth and nail to save himself.
When he played, the 43-year-old from Fermo was an edgy defender, against whom it was not easy to go one-on-one. In line with his footballing style, his musical tastes seem to be: Metallica and Foo Fighters among his favorite bands, bands that have left their mark in the history of metal and alternative rock.
And Paci, speaking of music, also knows very well that he will work in a city that, in the past, was considered the Italian capital of punk thanks to the birth of the “Great Complotto”, founded above all thanks to Ado Scaini and Fabio Zigante. Musical choices against the tide, if only with regard to the world of football: for this reason many fans will wink at the new coach, who has also played live.
He did it with Rezophonic, of his great friend Mario Riso, among the best rock drummers in Italy. The proceeds of the band are donated to the Amref (African Medical and Research Foundation) for a water project in the Kajiado region between Kenya and Tanzania.
Massimo Paci has strength and character and will try to pass on his skills to the group, which will start coaching at De Marchi from 5 July, the day of the meeting. The coach can’t wait to get started, he’s energized and next week – before the meeting – he’ll be in town for the first preparations. For him, not only for Pordenone, it will be a very important tournament.
After a year of C in Teramo he will compete for the first time in B and will want to show that he is ready and immediately capable of making an impact in this category. He will design a team that will reflect his way of being: tenacious, able to defend well and capable of attacking the opponent.
Features that all teams must have, he recalled on the day of his presentation, not just those that must be saved. Fans will be able to see his training in particular in training camp in Tarvisio, which will start from 12 July. And there, in two weeks in the mountains, Paci will be able to start transmitting his rock soul to the players.
