Elvar Fridriksson, a 27-year-old Icelandic play-guard, is a new player for Bertram Tortona. He played the first part of the season in Antwerp, Belgium, with 12.1 points and 6.7 assists per game. Raised basketball in the United States, he has a long experience in the European championships, wearing the tank tops of Denain (France), Njardvik (Iceland), Boras (Sweden), with whom he won the national title, Siaulai (Lithuania) and precisely Antwerp. He has been part of all the youth national teams and is now a staple of the roster of the senior team included in the same group as Italy for the 2023 World Cup qualifiers.
