‘Black Mirror’ returns to Netflix with Season 6 – Magazine

It took a long hiatus, and some feared it would last forever, but eventually Netflix announced the production of the season 6 of ‘Black Mirror’. This is good news, because it is one of the best science fiction titles in the streaming platform’s catalog: especially the first two seasons have branded the history of serial products.

Black Mirror
Created by the Englishman Charlie Brooker, ‘Black Mirror’ is an anthological series: the common thread is a reasoning with a dystopian tone on the impact of technology on our lives. Each episode tells a self-contained story, with different actors and actresses each time. The show debuted on Channel 4 in 2011 and for two seasons remained a pearl of the British television channel. He then moved on to Netlfix, where three more seasons and an interactive film (‘Bandersnatch’) came out. June 2019 was the last time new material was released in streaming.

Season 6
Since then there has been the Coronavirus pandemic and Charlie Brooker he admitted that he had not dedicated himself to writing new episodes also because he wanted to think of something funny. It’s ‘Black Mirror’, with its pessimism and dramatic connotations, it’s definitely not funny. Recently things have changed and so Brooker has returned to take care of the society that is falling apart and of the human beings who are overwhelmed by the rubble. The sixth season of ‘Black Mirror’ was born, which will consist of an as yet undefined number of episodes, but certainly more than the three that made up the previous one. As in the case of the fifth season, they will be longer than those of seasons 1 and 2. There are no further details. We therefore look forward to updates.
