Very tough challenge at Wembley: Chiesa and Pessina decide after a difficult match
LONDON. Very tough challenge in the round of 16 of the Europeans. Italy passes, beats Austria 2-1 and lands in the quarter-finals. The match is decided in extra time after the 0-0 which ended regular time. Chiesa scores from the left at 5 ‘of the overtime and Pessina doubles, again with the left-handed at the last minute of the first extra time. In the second extra time, 6’ from the end, Kalajdzic’s goal, to make the match balanced and exciting until the end.
