Bocce, the expectation for the Paralympic Tournament is growing

It is a long awaited weekend for the Italian Bocce Federation. In fact, the FIB / ASI Paralympic Tournament will be held at the Torrino Federal Technical Center in Rome, on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 May 2021, organized in collaboration with ASI (Italian Sports and Social Associations), which will offer the Trophies’ OSA – Beyond Competitive Sport ‘in Paralympic Boccia competitions and’ BMW Especially ‘in Paralympic Boccia competitions.

The weekend will be open on the afternoon of Friday 14 May 2021 with the Council of Regional Presidents, followed by the Federal Council on Saturday 15.

Also on Saturday 15, in addition to the start of the sports competitions, the Boccia Paralympic field will be inaugurated at the Federal Technical Center and a webinar on Paralympic sport is scheduled, broadcast in live streaming on the Federbocce Facebook page and Youtube channel, conducted by the journalist Claudio Arrigoni, who will be attended by the president of the FIB, Marco Giunio De Sanctis, the president of ASI, Claudio Barbaro, the president of the CIP, Luca Pancalli, Dr. Roberto Olivi of the BMW Communication Department, the Paralympic athletes Oney Tapia, Nicole Orlando and, in video link, Annalisa Minetti and Martina Caironi.

Various authorities were present, such as the President of Sport and Health, Vito Cozzoli, the Honorable Patrizia Prestipino, the President of Bmw Italia, Massimiliano Di Silvestre, Dr. Maria Elena Frusciante, representing the sponsor Campo Marzio, the president of the Commission Sport of the Municipality of Rome, Angelo Diario.

Caironi, Tapia, Minetti and Orlando were the protagonists of the promotional videos of the event, relaunched on Federbocce’s social channels.
