This time trial also earned Monica the victory in the open final, that is the ranking that includes all categories of disability.

Monica is not satisfied

«I’m happy with the medals, not completely satisfied with the times, which are a little higher than my personal best – explains Monica. – We are in the first important race of the year and I have approached these competitions as a test to plan my work for next year. Now I am continuing my training by shifting the focus to the absolute Italians in the long course in mid-March in Lignano Sabbiadoro, which will also be valid as an Italian stage of the World Cup and which will constitute an interesting test in view of the world championship next June. In between, Sunday 12 December, I will be competing in Brescia. I am also happy with the results of my teammates ».
