When the Miami Heat – the Boston Celtics’ main opponent for the last five years – scored their first points of the 2023-24 postseason, the Celtics had already made history.

Starting on a 14-0 run, Boston became the first team in the play-by-play era to start the postseason on such a run.
Forty-eight minutes of baskets later, the Celtics set another record, making 22 three-pointers and becoming the first team in postseason history to have every player hit the court with at least one 3-pointer.
