VENARIA REALE. Stefano Abatangelo, 40-year-old boxer from Canavese, won the Italian crown in the light heavyweight category for the third time on Saturday evening in Venaria Reale.

He beat the Tuscan Federico Gassani.

The victory came by technical knockout in the tenth round.

Abatangelo was still clearly ahead and would still have won on points.
