Brb Ivrea won the national squared bowls propaganda competition which took place last Sunday. It was the 107th edition of the city of Until. Brbha overtook La Perosina in the final after a long fight with a score of 9-8. The Ivrea training was composed of: Gianmichele Maina, Fabrizio Deregibus, Luigi Grattapaglia and Daniele Grosso. Valchisone lined up: Michele Data, Alessandro Longo, Matteo Mana, Luca Melignano. In the semifinals the Brb had overtaken the Aosta 13-5, inveve the Perosina folded the Fossone for 12-9.
On the land of Castellamonte two tournaments were held, the Combetta memorial and the Bono memorial. The first, in memory of Combetta, was a poule competition in pairs with the presence of sixteen teams. The final saw two teams from the Castellamonte bowling club facing each other. The one formed by Cotto and Giacoma won, 10-8 to the one formed by Fazana and Barinotto. In the semifinals the winners had defeated the Silpa Torino couple, the other Castellamonte couple had overtaken the Sangiorgese (De Glaudi and Radici). Even the Bono Memorial had sixteen race pairs. The success went to Ponte Masino in Nole Canavese with Berruti and Giardino, second the couple Nevelli and Bertotti, third Castellamonte with Clerico and Marigo and fourth the Fucine Rostagno with Vallero and Bernardo.
Between Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 a Spilimbergo (Pordenone) the individual Italian championships are held for category A. Next Sunday in Rivara pairs competition valid as Fiera di Rivara trophy, intercommunity competition. –
