Broni-Faenza, whoever loses remains at zero points

Leaving behind the home defeat against Ragusa, Costruzioni Italia Broni is concentrating on the next match. Saturday evening (20.30) the red and white will be at the Palasport Bubani in Faenza against the E-Work of coach Diego Sguaizer, also at 0 points, after losing against Moncalieri and Sesto San Giovanni. To the nucleus that last year won promotion to the A1 series (Franceschelli, Schwienbacher, Cappellotto, Morsiani, Porcu) were added the Policari wing from Vigarano, the Manzotti wing from Selargius, the former Broni pivot Elena Castello and the playmaker Cupid from Patti. Also from the Sicilian team, the Argentine winger Victoria Llorente arrived in Romagna (11.7 points and 9.7 rebounds on average in A2 last year); while the package of foreigners is completed by the Nigerian center Kunaiyi-Akpanah, already in Vigarano in the 2019/2020 season, and by the US guard Jori Davis, former San Martino, Turin, Battipaglia and Costa Masnaga. Broni will have to rely on the realization vein of the Serbian Krivacevic, who in the first two of the championship scored 32 points, and on the precision in the painting of Serena Bona who is second in the special 2-point shooting ranking, with 5/6, equal to ’83, 3%. Better than her is only Sara Crudo from Sesto San Giovanni (9/10). We will deal with energy adjustments, starting from the city center, where we already have some interventions under construction and others being studied for the near future. So we really want to help local realities, giving work and improving the appearance of the city. I do not exclude a concrete help to the team, perhaps by adapting a building to create a guesthouse, favoring the growth of the entire pink basketball movement in the area ».
