From Wednesday to enter the racetrack you first had to go to via Cattaneo to get a swab, free but molecular. Since yesterday the controls, already stringent, have doubled: access to the circuit by showing the personal pass and the parking pass, and whoever forgets it must turn around. Once inside, you immediately notice that it has been a while since people have come to see the races: next to well-kept areas (and especially that of the straight, where a vaccination center is still set up, but also the area di Lesmo and della Roggia), there are others where weeds are the masters. At Ascari the grass is just under half a meter high, while in the vicinity of the pedestrian underpass that leads from there to the Serraglio the grass has invaded the path under the Soprelevata. Of the shops usually open near the paddock, only the bar is active, the only place besides the circuit restaurant where anyone who is not part of the team bubbles can eat. Every day there are funny skits that arise from misunderstandings at the time of orders: English is an ugly beast. –
