Cable car falls on deaf ears, driver dies. The second cabin remains hanging: save 14 people

Prague, 31 October 2021 – A cable car crashed on Mount Jested, near Liberec, in Czech Republic. The driver lost his life, but he came close to the massacre because at least 14 people were on the second cabin, left hanging from a cable shortly after leaving the station.

Passengers alive, but in shock, They were get evacuated by rescuers. There are no injuries among them. The accident occurred, according to the local press quoting a spokesman for the local rescue services, just one day before the closure of the plant for the five-year review.

The cable car on the Jested is in operation since 1933, in the seventies it was completely redone. Local authorities have opened an investigation to find out the causes of the disaster.
