Cagliari, the Sardegna Arena stadium becomes Unipol Domus

10-year partnership between the rossoblù company and the insurance company

CAGLIARI. Cagliari Calcio and Unipol have started a partnership that will see the insurance group work alongside the Rossoblù Club as title sponsor of the new Cagliari stadium. The ten-year agreement also provides for the title sponsorship of the current temporary facility which will take the name of “Unipol Domus”, starting from the 2021-22 sports season until the inauguration of the new stadium, the title of which will be defined later.

Carlo Cimbri, Group CEO of Unipol Gruppo SpA, comments: “It is with particular enthusiasm that our Group wanted to support Cagliari Calcio in the name of its current and future stadium, to support its ambitions and contribute to the growth and success of a heritage that is not only sporting but also a symbol of identity of the city and of the whole of Sardinia “. The president of Cagliari Calcio, Tommaso Giulini, echoed him:” Having a partner of this magnitude at our side is further proof of how much the project stadium sees us committed to creating something unique and special ”.
