Candia, twenty medals for the Canottieri Otto are gold, even four silvers

Twenty medals, eight golds and bronzes and four silvers, won by Canottieri Candia 2010 at the first national youth rowing meeting held last weekend on the waters of Lake Candia.

A two-day event, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March, full of satisfactions for the Candia club, climbed to the top step of the podium with: Andrea Nuccio and Riccardo Lungu (2x, Cadets), Luca and Lorenzo Belletti, Francesco Boero and Federico Monti ( 4x, Allievi C), Alessio Perinetto (Allievi B1), Silvia Levrio and Aurora Soncin (2x, Allievi B1), while in addition to the meeting, Andrea Nuccio, Riccardo Lungu, Angelo Ternievskaia and Team Canobbio Samuele also triumphed in the regional team. Morandi (4x, Cadets). The gold medals are completed by Federico Monti and Pietro Severina (2x, Allievi C) and Simone Maschio (Allievi B2).

Instead, they won the silver: Ternievskaia and Morandi (2x, Cadets), Male (Allievi B2), Luca and Lorenzo Belletti (2x, Allievi C) and Perinetto (Allievi B1). Eight bronze medals: Yuri Sebastianutti (Cadets both in the Saturday and Sunday races), Pietro Severina (Pupils C), Angelica Acotto (Pupils C), Elia Ardizzi (Pupils B1), Luigi De Sanctis (Master G ), Boero (Allievi C) and finally as regards the Regional Representative, in the Cadet category, third place for Nora Gosso. Satisfied with the placings, but also with the performances offered, the coach of Canottieri Candia 2010 Federico Nuccio: «We have brought home many medals, the result of the work done by the boys in training. Even those who did not get on the podium kept our colors high and we are happy with everyone ». –
