Naples, 19 May 2022 – E. Guido Lembo diedfounder of the ‘Anema e Core’ tavern in Capri. Chansonnier is recognized as one of the most well-known characters on the island, he died at the age of 75 after battling a serious illness for a long time.
Guido Lembo had changed the nights of Capri by creating a small place close to the famous Piazzetta, where VIPs, actors, singers, entrepreneurs, but also the habitués of the blue island passed by. From Jennifer Lopez, to Naomi Campbell, to the players of various teams (Ferrara, Insigne, Mertens, Totti), to the entrepreneurs Luigi Abete, his friend, and Diego Della Valle, many were involved in the music of Guido Lembo who, at the end of the evening, invited them to get on the table and sing classic Neapolitan melodies who played celebrities as well as common customers on the guitar.
Appreciated not only by VIPs, but also by tourists, for years Lembo has been the undisputed king of the nightlife of Capri with its club, a symbolic place for almost 30 years.
