Carnera ready for rebirth. And it is already in the air of a full house

The increase in capacity to 50% has given impetus to the season ticket campaign. The cheerleaders will also be back on October 10 for the first time at the Old West

UDINE. The championship is approaching and the Udinese typhus fever rises. The Apu Old Wild West, making its debut on Sunday on the Assigeco Piacenza field, concluded the first phase of the season ticket campaign in the best possible way and opened the second phase, dedicated to free sale, with a bang.
The 700 seats made available for season ticket holders for the 2020/21 season have all been assigned by the deadline on Tuesday.

The news of the increase in the capacity of the indoor facilities (from 35 to 50% has therefore reached the bean, because it has allowed the Juventus club to expand the number of subscriptions to 1,200.

The second phase started on Wednesday morning, with 500 cards for free sale, and within a few hours 230 were subscribed. At this rate, by the weekend we could have the season tickets sold out.

With a capacity of 50% (subject, hopefully, to a further retouch upwards) the Carnera will be able to enter just over 1,700 spectators. Around 500 tickets will be on sale for home matches, starting with the match against Casale Monferrato on Sunday 10 October. It is easy to predict that, if the team confirms the good sensations of the pre-season, the 500 tickets will be “pulverized” in advance and on Sunday the Carnera coffers will remain closed.

The climate of optimism must not make us forget that the pandemic has not yet been defeated. This is why the APU has chosen the path of prudence, and until further notice will maintain the distribution of “checkerboard” seats.
At the entrance to the sports hall the innovative thermoscanners will always be in operation, you will only enter with the green pass and inside the facility you will have to wear a mask.
With a view to a gradual return to normality, the cheerleaders are back to entertain the spectators, in addition to the well-known mascot Patrick. The bar service will reopen, complete with a delivery service to the place: in this regard, a novelty is in the pipeline that will be announced shortly.
As for the warmth of the fans, in these hours Sector D decides whether to extend the “strike” by continuing to adhere to the national organized support initiative (against the only partial reopening of the sports halls) or whether it will return to support the team with choirs and choreographies from the West curve.
