Chess, the Ivrea chess society confirms the president and renews the board. The elective assembly of the Company took place on Saturday 11 September in Ivrea, at the headquarters in Piazza Primo Maggio in Bellavista. The new board of directors of the association, born in 1983, has been appointed. For the period 2021/2024 Professor Alessandro Caresana has been confirmed as president. Elena Garnerone, Mario Bogatto, Filippo Chiarotto, Denis Paonessa joined the board of directors. Vice president will be Chiarotto, Paola Pilo secretary and Paonessa treasurer. The position of Technical Director was assigned to Fabrizio Ranieri, the club’s top player. Saturday 2 October there will be the first appointment of the club in Bellavista: the open day is scheduled in Piazza Primo Maggio. The aim is to bring passionate and curious people closer to the discipline. The tournament calendar will be made official soon. The Ivrea Chess Society, which will celebrate its 40th birthday next year, has always stood out for its attention to training and development of the nursery, boasting an international Master, a Master Fide and several master candidates. Although the covid forced the club to remain closed in 2021, 33 members were registered and registered with the federation. In recent months the online game has developed on different platforms which has attracted many fans all over the world. –
