Calcio Serie D. Montebelluna sells the attacking midfielder in Serie A

the revelation

At Montebelluna this year the sales of young talents to Serie A clubs have risen to three. After the transfers of Mattia Michielan to Inter and Federico Tavernaro to Milan, the Via Biagi club has formalized the definitive move to the Rossoneri also for Alberto Chiesurin. The attacking midfielder, born in 2005, was carving out a space for himself in the first team in view of the next season in D, but for him now the doors of professionalism are wide open in one of the most prestigious realities. Stefano Frezza, to the Biancocelesti: «Chiesurin will not be the last outing, there will be four more to the professionals (including two from Serie A). It is proof that our youth sector continues to be among the best at national level. Alberto is a serious boy with his head on his shoulders. In recent years he has shown important commitment and quality, often playing with the biggest players, as well as with the national teams. Now he should have been part of the first team squad, and I’m sure he would have made a lot of appearances in D despite his 16 years. For us it is a great satisfaction, it means that the development path that Montebelluna offers its young players is of the highest level ».

“I think I made the right choice, it will be a great experience to stay away from home and live with other guys”, says Chiesurin, “I didn’t expect the call, when I was told about this possibility I found it hard to believe, because we are speaking of one of the most successful clubs in Europe like AC Milan. I would like to thank all the coaches I have had, the managers and the people who revolve around the club. I thank the president Alberto Catania and in particular Stefano Frezza and Marco Cecchet, who have been very important to me over the years. Finally, I thank all my teammates, because without them I would not have arrived here ».

In the meantime, two other Montebelluna players have come to the fore: we are talking about the midfielders Manuele De Min and Luca Borghesan. After being called up for the Under 18 National Representative of the NLD, they helped bring the team to the final in the Lazio Cup tournament, losing only the last act played yesterday with Roma. Borghesan scored twice on matchday three against Canada. –
