Verona, 5 August 2021 – Chievo won’t give up. After the Lazio TAR did not accept the appeal presented by the Gialloblù against the exclusion from the next Serie B, confirming what was already ruled by the FIGC and Coni in the previous hearings, the Verona company decided to also apply to the Council of State. It is thelast chance to hope for the Cadetteria, which nevertheless seems like a mirage. “AC ChievoVerona announces that it has filed with the Council of State the appeal against the sentence of the Lazio TAR issued on Monday 2 August. The appeal has been duly registered”, reads the press release issued by the club chaired by Luca Campedelli, who is trying them all to avoid amateurism.
Cosenza awaits
If this road too turns out to be a dead end, then Chievo would be forced to raise the white flag and accept the exclusion from the B decided by Covisoc, which had denied registration in the clivensi championship due to the payment in installments of some debts with the Tax. In place of the yellow and blue, the Cosenza, one of the relegated from the last cadet tournament, while for the Venetians there would only be a restart from D or even from a lower category.
