China too strong: Giada Rossi and Italy stop at bronze in the semifinal

TOKYO. Giada Rossi from Friuli won bronze in the Paralympic double. For the fourth consecutive edition the unbeatable China has blocked the way to Italy in the women’s team competition of class 1-3.

In the semi-final of the Tokyo Paralympics, which took place at 5 am Italian time on Wednesday 1 September, China prevailed 2-1 in a comeback and Michela Brunelli and Giada Rossi, after frightening the Asian battleship, can celebrate the conquest of the bronze medal. For Giada it is the second medal after the one in singles won in Rio 2016.
