BELLUNO

The City of Belluno trophy is back, an event proposed at the Arturo Dell’Oro airport by the Belluno Parachuting Association in synergy with the Belluno Aeroclub and valid for the World cup series, the precision landing world cup. The appointment, third stage of the circuit (the first two took place in Rijeka, Croatia, and Bled, Slovenia), is set from Friday 30th to Sunday.

The teams registered are over 40, for a total of competitors that exceed 200. The nations represented are thirteen: in addition to Italy at the start athletes from France, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Lithuania, Holland, Hungary, Slovakia, the Republic Czech, Poland and Bulgaria.

“The Città di Belluno trophy returns to its natural summer location after last year, due to a health emergency, it was held at the beginning of October and without the” brand “World cup series because the circuit did not take place”, explains the coordinator Corrado Marchet, «unfortunately there will be restrictions this year too, the most evident of which is the absence of an audience: the event, in fact, will be behind closed doors. In terms of covid, it should be noted that Usl1 will offer a free swab service during the three days of the competition. It is important to be here again, just as last May it was important to have revived the Dolomiti cup. The Città di Belluno trophy is confirmed as an awaited appointment, with many foreigners at the start, demonstrating that the event is liked. This year, then, the event will be of particular importance as it is the last appointment before the world championships that will take place in Russia in the first half of August ». As mentioned, the Città di Belluno trophy is the third stage of the World Cup Series after those of Rijeka and Bled (Slovenia). The fourth stage will take place in Thalgau, Austria, from 27 to 19 August while the fifth and last one in Locarno, Switzerland, from 24 to 26 September. –
