Rome, 29 August 2021 – Waiting for the new bulletin of the Ministry of Health on the progress of Covid in Italy, while the closures of premises where hundreds of people flock to dance without a mask. I am 528 new cases in Tuscany in the last 24 hours (511 confirmed with molecular swab and 17 by rapid antigenic test), which bring the total number of infections to 270,534. The average age of the newly infected is 36 years, while the percentage of positives on the 7,016 subjects tested today is equal to 7.5% (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs). They register two new deaths in the province of Grosseto. The currently positives are 11,580. There are 472 hospitalized (12 more than yesterday), of which 53 in intensive care (+6).
The number of Covid in positives drops by a few hundred compared to yesterday Veneto, which records 513 new cases in the last 24 hours. They also count two deaths. The total number of infected since the beginning of the epidemic rises to 453,901, while that of victims to 11,683. The people currently positive and in isolation are 12,939 (+130). As for clinical data, the number of beds occupied by the sick in medical areas is decreasing, 214 (-6), while the patients in intensive care remain unchanged, currently 51.
In Puglia have been registered 198 almost on 10,156 tests for Covid-19 infection, with an incidence of 1.9%. Also worth mentioning a death. The new positives are 64 in Lecce, 50 in the province of Bat, 37 in the province of Bari, 22 in Foggiano, 16 in Brindisi, 5 in Tarantino, 4 residents outside the region. Since the beginning of the emergency, 3,259,637 tests have been carried out and 4,683 cases are currently positive. The total number of positive cases is 263,229 and 251,843 patients are cured.
