Among the amateurs the star of the little road Andrea D’Amato returns to shine, under-23 aged 19, one of the promises (three successes won in 2021 including the classic Winter Cup, in the first year of the category) of the Carnovali Team Cipollini. After a long forced break due to a viral problem, his return to racing coincided with the third place obtained in Parabiago in the Rancilio Trophy. The race was won alone by Edoardo Zamperini of Zalf; very close group sprint with Andrea D’Amato third overall, beaten by a few millimeters by Cristian Rocchetta of Zalf.

Among the amateurs still in the limelight Giorgio Rapaccioli of Santa Maria della Versa. Rapaccioli and Pertica staged an escape at the 40th km. quickly; at the rhythm of a time trial couple they finished the race paired without staging sprints, being of different categories. Finally, the amateur appointment of Godiasco, decimated by a torrid heat, constantly at 36 degrees.

The organizers of the Pedale Godiaschese preferred, in agreement with the members, to carry out only two of the three scheduled races; thus the one reserved for the youth range was skipped, which would have been carried out in the hottest hours of the day.
