Chronological age? 40. Indeed, 41 in December. Usually a certain number of candles means hanging up the proverbial boots, or at most juggling a few games between friends in the CSI. Instead Ndiaye Daouda wants to win again. And for now he is making his contribution. Four goals scored in three games in the Arsiè leaders of Group T of the Second Category, first of all. “Thanks to the great work they had already started here last season,” says Daouda, author of a brace on Sunday against Gemelle. «I know the coach Luca Testa from the season spent together with Feltrese in the Third Category. I like his way of playing, based a lot on the development of the ball action on the ground. He wanted me to come here last summer, but in the meantime I had already found an agreement with Agordina. In any case, I have always been in contact with him and now here I am. I do not deny that the ambition for victory has given me further incentives. «No no, every year I think it’s the last, but then I think about it. The passion is always great, and I’m physically well ».

«We are a good group, my teammates never really give up. We certainly want to continue to do well and have fun. The Second has raised its level, because several boys have dropped from the higher categories. My last victory in a championship is the one with Limana in 2017. At the age of 41, I wouldn’t mind adding another one to my personal palmares.
