Manuele De Min and Marco Piazza make their debut in the thirteenth edition of the Lazio cup in which they participate wearing the blue jersey of the Under 18 National Amateur League. Both young talents from Belluno were deployed on the field from the first minute by coach Giannichedda in yesterday afternoon’s opening match won by measure (1-0) against Benevento. The challenge was decided by a penalty kick converted by Filippo Ghiani (just entered from the bench) at the start of the second half. In the first half, however, it was De Min from Belluno, with a free kick that ended a few centimeters from the side, to touch the blue advantage. In the 4-3-3 drawn by the coach Giannichedda, De Min (who plays in Montebelluna) found a place as a central defender paired with Puzone, while Piazza (who belongs to the Belluno Dolomites) was deployed in midfield, in a central position. While Manuele remained on the field until the triple whistle, Marco was replaced a few minutes from the end (Vitale entered his place, in the 87th minute). Today and tomorrow the second and third matches of the group stage are scheduled. Both will be played in the morning, at 9.30: today the National Amateur League will face Crotone, while tomorrow they will face a selection from Canada. The two matches, like the one won yesterday afternoon, will be played at the municipal stadium of Casalattico, in the province of Frosinone.
