Di Carlo has to redo the staff, Pordenone is waiting for him

The coach will not be followed in Friuli by the deputy Valigi and the collaborator Abbruscato. The signing will arrive next week when there will be the forms of the FIGC

PORDENONE. Expected these days, the official announcement linked to the arrival of Domenico Di Carlo on the Pordenone bench is postponed to the beginning of next week. We still have to wait for the forms to be able to carry out the so-called “black on white” and which will come out only after the next Federal Council, scheduled for tomorrow.

The coach will then wait for the conclusion of the Vicenza season, with which he is under contract until June. The Venetians are engaged in the play-out with Cosenza and on Friday they face game two in the presence of the former Bisoli at San Vito-Marulla.

There is an agreement between the parties, only the official status is missing, while in the next few hours the coach from Cassino will be busy setting up the staff. There is work to be done, because in the last few hours two forfeits have been registered in this regard.

In Friuli the coach will not be followed by his historic deputy Claudio Valigi and by Elvis Abbruscato, with the latter who would have joined his team after having led the Reggiana Primavera.

An unexpected choice, since previously none of the parties called into question had denied the future collaboration.

Two steps backwards linked to personal reasons, to which Di Carlo is called to find a solution as he has already done during his career, when other members of his staff have alternated.

A more substantial help in the role of technical collaborator can be provided by Martino Sofia, already his match analyst as well as a professional with whom he worked directly on the field.

The “second” box must certainly be filled in and with great attention, since it is the figure who works most closely with the “first”.

As is well known, it will therefore be necessary to identify the goalkeeper coach, considering that Marco Zuccher terminated last December with Vicenza to follow Paolo Vanoli at Spartak Moscow.

For this last piece the name of Davide Dei was also mentioned, already in Pordenone in the staff of Massimo Rastelli, linked as the Campania coach and his collaborators for another year of contract.

In the meantime, it is certain that Mr. Di Carlo, in addition to Martino Sofia, will work in Friuli with Lorenzo Riela, an athletic trainer.

As for the men still tied to the green lizards, Martino Vignali will remain as match analyst (whose bond expires in June 2023), while for now the permanence of the technical collaborator Andrea Toffolo and the athletic trainer Tommaso Zentilin is a question mark, both from Friuli and loyal to the Neroverde cause for many years.

The future of the latter two will be evaluated and the hypothesis that the company takes other paths cannot be ruled out.

In short, many points to be clarified in the next few days and then after having a solid work team with which to form the squad that will aim to play a top championship in Serie C.
