Di Pasquali and Boetto super at the “Trail della Diga”

by admin

Roberto Di Pasquali (Climb Runners) and Ludovica Boetto (As Gaglianico 74) won the success in the Trail della Diga, a 22-kilometer trial, with 450 meters of positive difference in altitude, organized by La Vetta Running. «The race went very well and we received many compliments, both for the organization and for the track – they explain from the control room -. Time has helped us: the only regret is that we could not celebrate as we would have liked with the third time. The large spaces, however, have allowed us a small return to almost normal. The block start and the obligation to wear a mask both at the start and at the finish were respected and there were no problems ». A little unscheduled Saturday: «In Netro we found cows grazing and an electric wire. We tracked down the owner, who gave us permission to transit, but on the day of the race some animals followed the competitors, reaching the finish line. For the future we will be able to return to the double distance, host those who come from afar and welcome them already to sleep. Above all, we hope not to be forced to block registrations like this year at 250 ». Di Pasquali finished with a time of 1h26’59 ”, preceding Matteo Biolcati Rinaldi (Pietro Micca Biella Running, 1h30’24 ”) and Raffaele Bottegal (Bognanco, 1h32’04 ”) on the podium. In the female Boetto won 1h56 ” in front of Alessandra Betteo (Bognanco, 1h57’39 ”) and Barbara Negrari (City of Genoa Group, 2h01”46). The race of the amputees was thrilling: four at the start and all arrived at the finish line.
