Diana from Ugly he was 84 years old and she was born in Turin. Daughter of Italo de Feo, also a journalist, she was among the collaborators of the daily column the Almanac of the day after, which from the mid-70s to the early 90s closed Rai television broadcasts, but also special correspondent of Tg1 for art and culture. De Feo also had a political experience. In 2008 she was elected senator in the Popolo delle Libertà lists, the party born from the merger of Forza Italia, Alleanza Nazionale and other small centrist foundations. Emilio Fede in many interviews spoke of the special relationship that bound him to his wife; first confidant, support in difficult times and adviser, as well as spouse. The relationship had also remained solid recently, when the former director of Tg4 (and, before, Tg1) and his wife had “moved away”, given that the journalist had remained in Milan to serve under house arrest, while de Feo lived in Rome. The two, Faith had said, met ten times a day to exchange opinions and strengthen each other. Their love had resisted even the court of Constantine of Greece, the Hellenic king who wanted Diana in marriage.
The story of the promise of marriage between the two is curious. They were on vacation in Cervinia, the former senator said, and Fede fell, spraining his ankle.
