Coach Roberto Pierobon’s team won the East group, totaling eight wins in as many matches and qualified early (followed by Cussignacco) for the finals that offer promotion to A1. «At this point of the season the results are spectacular. Beyond the eight consecutive victories “, underlines Pierobon,” they were not all easy games, indeed, because the teams that go to face the leaders always play differently, trying to give more than one hundred percent. The boys have been good because since January they have trained with great commitment, always present, despite the constant push and pull due to the postponement of the start of the championship. But as I said to them too, we haven’t done anything yet. The first part is gone, but we are still missing the final sprint. And we will do everything to get there in the best possible way ».
In the coming weeks, the Pontalpines should also play a friendly match with Noventa (the A1 league club coached by Paolo De Toffol) to prepare for the four-man final that will be played in the middle of summer on the Chivasso lanes in Piedmont. «We will certainly go there with the aim of playing for it, trying to win to pursue the goal that the club has clearly said it wants to achieve since the beginning of the season. The most positive aspect of this season is the group that was created at Dolada. This is a team that started the year with clear ideas and the will to win, starting with its president Giorgio Salvador. The team is succeeding because everyone is rowing on the same side. They are all players who can play safely. Furthermore, the strongest do not at all weigh their technical quality but, on the contrary, act as a stimulus for the rest of the group, a very cohesive group ».
Waiting to know the two elected members of the West group who will reach Dolada and Cussignacco in the Final four of Chivasso, the Pontalpini can enjoy the victory of the East group. took part in the A2 series of bowls, the Volo specialty, the Pedavena.
The Feltrini ended their season with six points, the result of three wins and five defeats, proving that they can maintain the category.
