After the postponement due to adverse weather, it seems to be the right time for the second edition of the Domobianca SkiAlp Vertical Race which will start on Saturday at 7.00 pm from the Alpe Lusentino square and along an illuminated route of 2.5 km and 600 m. D+ will take the athletes to the Ski Bar. The times to beat are those of two giants of Ski Mountaineering, for the men the best time belongs to Michele Boscacci: 19’52”, for the women the time to beat is that of Alba De Silvestro: 23’40”.

An epic battle is expected that will set the snows of the Domobianca365 area on fire, one that will take place between the great names of international ski mountaineering, starting with the athlete of the Italian Army and national team Matteo Eydallin, the very strong French verticalist Jocelyn Verdenal, the multi-victorious William Boffelli, to the skyrunning world champion Cristian Minoggio, to the vertical vice world champion Marcello Ugazio.

«Unfortunately, the postponement meant we lost the Swiss athletes due to a competition coinciding with their championship – adds Ivan Svilpo, spokesperson for the organizing committee -. For us and for all the athletes it will be an honor to spend an evening together with great names in sport such as Franco Collé in ski mountaineering attire. For women, don’t miss the challenge between Claudia Boffelli and Dimitra Theocaris.”

It will be possible to register on the portal www.wedosport.net until Friday 23 February and you can still register on site from 5.00 pm to 6.15 pm

The chairlifts will be open for those who want to follow the race, the pasta party open to all will then follow at the Baita Motty and the awards ceremony and the big party with the Skydrunker movement will follow at the Luse Bar.
