A market in turmoil, with 280,000 pedal assisted e-bikes sold in Italy in 2020, slowed only by the logistical and supply difficulties of components and materials that in 2021 affect various fields of industry. The electric bicycle is gaining acceptance in our country, where two-wheeled pedal models equipped with an electric kit – motor and battery – which significantly reduces fatigue are now widespread in all types of e-bikes: e-mountain bikes, in particular, but also city, touring, road, gravel and cargo bike models.
