Organized by Orientamondo Ivrea, an orienteering sprint race was held in the city on Sunday 24th, a competition valid for the Pilati 2021 Trophy, Piedmont regional circuit.

Over 80 members, aged 10 to 75, from clubs in Verona, Milan, Aosta, Cuneo, Nichelino, Turin, Boves, Lucca, Varese and Vercelli. Five routes of increasing difficulty that have unfolded in the historic center of Ivrea, tracks designed by Leonardo and Lucia Curzio, for a real length from 2800 to 4500 meters that have brought the many and competitors from the Giusiana gardens to the Duomo, running through the historical center of Ivrea by touching Castellazzo, Borghetto, to finish the test at the Canoe Stadium.

In the black course first place for Edoardo Pellegrino, North West Pro Team, 11th Riccardo Di Silvestro, Orientamondo Ivrea; on the purple course Lorenzo Spina, Opk Miraflores, sixth the Eporediese Maurizio Farina, stands out; Giorgio Ceresa, Gsport, imposes himself on the red course, 15th Pietro Silini, Ivrea; Sofia Magistrati for Orientamondo Ivrea is first in the green path, Laura Ferrere 6th; on the white course wins Simone Siccardi, Cus Torino, ninth Marcello Beltrando. –
