Tel Aviv, 26 October 2021 – New act in the dramatic dispute between the families of Eitan Biran. Yesterday the Tel Aviv court ruled that the child, the only survivor of the Mottarone tragedy, must return to Italy where the paternal aunt, Aya Biran. However, the ruling is not yet final, as it is open to appeal.
Today the mother’s family accuses the woman of not having returned the child last night, violating the agreements on the alternation of the minor’s routine, in fact the judges had ordered joint custody between the Italian-Israeli aunt and the Israeli grandfather, waiting the outcome of the process.
The Pelegs turned to the court “in the hope that this time we understand the extent to which yesterday’s decision immediately became a deadly weapon in the hands of Aya Biran”, family lawyer Gadi Solomon said.
