Kjaer’s header against Manchester United has overturned the prospects. The 1-0 would have been a complicated result for Milan, which, thanks to the 1-1 draw, however, arrives with a completely different spirit for the return match scheduled for Thursday at San Siro: the quarter-finals are up for grabs. And to think that the two clubs come from very different paths in this European season: the Rossoneri started from the Europa League preliminaries and were one step away from elimination in the incredible match against Rio Ave, while the Red Devils fell from the Champions League with the third place in the iron group with Psg, Leipzig and Basaksehir.

The first leg was the first cross between the two Devils in the European cups 11 years after the last time, with the double victory of the English in the Champions League round of 16 in 2009/10: 3-2 at San Siro in the first leg match, 4-0 at Old Trafford.
