Training has begun at the Tirrenia Olympic Training Center
CAGLIARI. Riccardo Sottil e Gabriele Zappa of Cagliari called up for the European Under 21 national team. The coach Paolo Nicolato has made official today May 24 the list of 23 players who will participate in this adventure, starting tomorrow, day of the meeting by 12 at the Olympic training center in Tirrenia.
The blue coach has confirmed the “historic” block, in which the Cagliari striker Riccardo Sottil returns, after the injury.
The Under team will begin preparation on Wednesday 26 with a double training session, which will also be held on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, however, after morning training, the team will leave on a charter flight from Pisa to Ljubiana where on Monday 31st they will face Portugal in the quarterfinals, ninety decisive minutes of this atypical European Championship. In fact, this final phase will be a direct elimination: after the quarterfinals, the semifinal is scheduled for June 3 in Maribor and the final for June 6 in Ljubiana.
