CAGLIARI. Amicora and Italian hockey are in mourning. Felice Salis died at 83, for all Cicci. Champion of Italy several times with Amicora in field hockey. He had been one of the nine Sardinian players who had participated in the 1960 Rome Olympics. At the Games he had been one of the 4 Azzurri who had played all 5 matches from the Italian selection.

After quitting his competitive career, he was first coach of the Ponte Vittorio club, also winning the Italian title in the junior category, therefore for years an appreciated manager accompanying the Amicora teams. He was proudly part of the Sardinian group of Italian blues. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 3 pm at the church of the Vergine della Salute in Poetto. To his wife Marisa, to his two daughters and grandchildren, the condolences of New Sardinia (en.g.)
