The 2026 World Cup is the first time in history that 48 teams will participate, so the competition has become even more. After the United States, Canada and Mexico jointly won the right to host the 2026 World Cup, a total of 22 cities in the three countries have applied to host the World Cup. After the inspection and selection by FIFA, the following 16 host cities were finally determined:

United States: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle.
Canada: Toronto, Vancouver.
Mexico: Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey.

We look forward to working with them to create an unprecedented World Cup and to make football truly global.”

Victor Montagliani, Vice-President of FIFA and President of the North American and Caribbean Confederations, said: “We are delighted with the unparalleled competitiveness of this selection process. Not only are we grateful to the 16 cities that were selected, A big thank you to the other 6 cities that participated in the bid.
