Twenty medals (ten golds, seven silvers and three bronzes), is the booty achieved by the company Canoa Candia Asd last Sunday, June 20, on the occasion of the regional junior canoe competition held on the waters of Lake Candia.

Starting from the first places in the category, success in the K2 200 meters of Wolfgang Naretto and Federico Nicoli, as well as Diego Cambursano and Guglielmo Grandi (Allievi B).

In the K1 200 meters first place of Matteo Gnavi (Cadets B) and always in the K1 of 200 m Guglielmo Grandi and Wolfgang Naretto, both in the Allievi B. gold medal also for Pietro Bacchetta in the K1 200 meters (Allievi A), while in the category Students B, in the K2 of 2.000 meters victory of Diego Cambursano and Luca Egor. Moving on to the boats of four, success in the 2,000-meter K4 of: Lorenzo Bruno, Wolfgang Naretto, Guglielmo Grandi and Federico Nicoli.

Gold medals also arrived in the women’s field, thanks to Madalina Foca and Emma Maria Deandrea in the 200-meter K2s (Senior cat.) And in the K4s, again from 200 meters instead by: Maria Vittoria Bazzarone, Martina Hrabanov, Emma Maria Deandrea and Madalina Foca. Here is who managed to get the silver medal: Iacob Taisa (K1 200 meters, Cat. Allievi B), Simone Demuru (C1 200 meters, Juniores), Emanuele Nicoli (K1 200 meters, Allievi A) and the group formed by: Lorenzo Russo, Luca Egor, Diego Cambursano and Federico Nicoli (K4 200 meters, Allievi B).

Even in the women’s field, the canoeing club from Candia reached second positions: Maria Vittoria Bazzarone and Martina Hrabanov (K2 200 meters, Juniores), while Hrabanov and Bazzarone also obtained second place in the K1 two hundred meters in the Girls and Juniors categories.

Finally, as regards the three bronze medals, the medal table speaks all male: Patric Lazar (Boys) finished third in the C1 on the distance of 200 meters, Andrea Gazziero and Iacob Taisa in the 200 meters K1 races, respectively in the categories Pupils A and Pupils B. –
