Formula 1, Bahrain GP: Verstappen on pole, Leclerc will start 4th – Sport

Max Verstappen on Red Bull took the first pole position of the season in qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix, the first of the Formula 1 World Championship in 2021. The Dutchman precedes the Mercedes of world champion Lewis Hamilton who will start in second position tomorrow. Fourth for the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc, eighth for the Red of Carlos Sainz.
