Gaggio Montano, 30 October 2021 – It is yellow among the mountains of Gaggio Montano, where the corpse of a 72-year-old local woman. A body on which gods were found cuts on legs and lower abdomen, although from the first technical surveys carried out by the scientific investigations section of the carabinieri, together with the coroner, it has not yet been ascertained that they may have been the cause of death. The investigations, coordinated by the prosecutor Antonello Gustapane, are still underway to reconstruct the causes of death: the elderly woman may have died of natural causes but those injuries to the lower abdomen and legs have aroused suspicion in the carabinieri and in the public prosecutor of Bologna, which opened an investigation into aggravated homicide.
According to the first reconstructions of the investigators, the woman’s body was found by his 45-year-old son inside the second family home in Gaggio Montano, where the 72-year-old would have used to move during the day to do housework. In fact, from the morning the son and her husband, who live with the woman in another house in a neighboring town of Gaggio Montano, would no longer see the lady, becoming suspicious only when the 72-year-old didn’t come back for dinner. At this point, the son went to the second house, where the terrible discovery of the lifeless mother’s body was made.
At this point the man called 118 and the carabinieri, who immediately started the investigations. The scientific investigations section also went to the site, in addition to the coroner, who carried out the technical surveys necessary to reconstruct the causes of death. According to early findings, there were no signs of burglary or burglary, but the door of the house was open. The house was also in order and it seems that nothing was missing.
