Garlasco and Certosa in search of redemption in the first trips

There is a bitter debut to redeem for Ambrovit Garlasco and Colombo Impianti Certosa, both defeated at home last Saturday at the first of the championship in the women’s B1 volleyball series and today engaged in the first away matches of group D, composed largely of teams from Emilia and Romagna.

It starts at 18 with Colombo Impianti Certosa engaged on the field of Campagnola Emilia against Trabassi & Vezzali (referees Paola Scognamiglio of Naples and Marta Cavalera of Lecce), a team that, in the first round, was defeated 3-1 in Cremona by a of the big expectations of this group, the Esperia, against which he had won the first set, only to suffer the comeback and give way to the distance.

The expert Caterina Fanzini, who also has experience in Serie A in her career, is the captain and the most prominent player of a very young and interesting squad who, from the A2 series in Ravenna, has drawn the opposite left-handed Stefania Bernabé in the summer. Absolutely not an easy match for the girls trained by coach Federico Di Toma, called to improve themselves compared to the unhappy debut seven days ago and to play a challenge with a formation largely made up of equally young and interesting prospects, just like Certosa.

At 20.30, (referees Roberto Tavarini from Massa Carrara and Ivan Tizzanini from Lucca) it will then be the turn of Ambrovit Garlasco, on the Rivalta di Reggio Emilia field, guest of the Reggiano Volleyball Center which, last week at the debut in the league, he was able to snatch a point on the difficult field of Ostiano. Centro Volley is a very well-established team that has confirmed much of the squad of the past season by integrating it with some grafts coming from B2 series formations, always belonging to the Reggio belt. Matches between Fumara Gossolengo and Esperia Cremona, Conad Alsenese and Emilbronzo Montale, Angelini Cesena and Ostiano, Bleuline Forlì and Csi Clai Imola complete the program of the day.

In the next round of the championship, Garlasco will host Cremona (Saturday at 6 pm) and Certosa will see it within the friendly walls with the Reggiano Volleyball Center (always and on Saturday, but at 9 pm).
