A journey with a pink background. It is that of Stefano Sirotti, a photographer from Romagna like his father Emanuele, who after having created a celebratory book for his 30 Tour de France has published another publication (again in collaboration with Alessandro Freschi, published by Kriss) this time linked to the Giro d’Italia, collecting over 400 images from 45 editions, from that of 1976 (the last of the 3 successes of Felice Gimondi) to the unpublished one in October in 2020, won by the British Tao Geoghegan Hart.

Obviously, the great beauty of our country is the backdrop for the runners, from the Alps to the Dolomites to the coasts of Sardinia and Sicily without forgetting the ‘excursions’ of the Giro abroad which in recent years have become more and more frequent. And among the written contributions there are some exceptional ones such as that of Vincenzo Nibali, the Sicilian who won twice (in 2013 and 2016) and for another four times arrived on the final podium.
