The National Summer Games of Special Olympics ended in Turin, a sporting event where the SpecialMente association of Ivrea participated with its athletes in both pool and open water swimming disciplines.

For swimming in the pool, in the Aquatic pool, the athletes Leonardo Azzolin, Matteo Berta, Kevin Deriu, Morris Lippi, Serena Mussat, Daniele Porcelli, Diego Rossetto and Alessandro Pintus participated, the latter also engaged in swimming in open water in the lake of Avigliana, in the fifteen hundred meters race, together with the partner athlete Giovanni Mattiacci of the Canavese Swimmers.

All the athletes of the Ivrea team participated with great enthusiasm and determination supported by the technicians, partner athletes and volunteers, achieving results of absolute prestige in the various categories to which they belong.

Leonardo Azzolin won a good sixth place in the twenty-five meters freestyle, silver medal instead for Kevin Deriu in the twenty-five meters backstroke, Morris Lippi is fourth in the twenty-five meters freestyle, while Serena Mussat is second in the twenty-five meters backstroke.

Well Alessandro Pintus who conquers gold in the fifteen hundred meters in open water, gold even in the hundred meters freestyle and silver in the fifty freestyle, in the pool. Another gold medal this time won by Daniele Porcelli in the ten meters assisted while Diego Rossetto is fifth in the twenty-five meters freestyle. At the end of a long year of tiring training, the athletes of Specialmente were finally able to put themselves to the test and show off in an event of absolute prestige, an event that gave great emotions to the young people in the race to the proud technicians, definitely satisfied with the results achieved. .
