«I spent a fantastic year and a half at Chievo», the Treviso coach begins, «it is an open wound because it is a fairy tale that perhaps ends. You would have to be inside to understand, I can’t explain how it could have happened. Chievo is a club that focuses heavily on programming, it is a perfect watch and an economic model ».
But if the history of Chievo is about to end, that of Bepi Pillon shows no sign of ending. On the contrary. How can we forget the story of the three consecutive promotions with Treviso and the conquest of Serie A? “Sorry to see Treviso in a category that is not his, I hope that over time what happened when I arrived can happen and return to the levels that belong to them”. Even in recent years the coach of Preganziol has confirmed himself as a man who can reverse the course of events: think of the results obtained with breaking latest news, reaching the unexpected playoffs in B, and the Cosenza parenthesis, an experience ended due to the pandemic. I’m sorry because I had a year and a half contract, we finished sixth and I had the possibility of having another year to fix things and maybe try to win the championship ».
The desire to get back into the game is there and they have never been lacking: “I have had years lived great, others less but I have always tried to give my best”, says the man of fairy tales.
For the moment there is only one goal: “Now I’m trying to be a full-time grandfather,” jokes the coach, but every door is open to look for new motivations: “The current market is difficult. I am a maverick dog, I manage because I am without a proxy. So it becomes difficult to find accommodation, then for my age some might consider me old but I am still very young. If there is something that I really like and that will suit me, let’s see, I don’t set any limits ». –
