The Meeting Center (with a 90-year-old in the team) for the second consecutive year won the Champions League bowl, a bowls tournament now in its fourth edition and organized by the Albianese Bocciofila, which saw 14 teams at the start. In the final, played on Saturday 25 June, the Match Center beat the Brazilian party team 13-4. Very hard-fought start to the game, so much so that in the first eight hands the score was nailed to 4-4. Then the Center of Match in the next two hands got two points, taking the lead. From here on, the collapse of the members of the Brazilian party, who in the eleventh hand have conceded five points to their opponents. On 11-4, the game is effectively over, with the winners rounding up the score.

A final therefore with two faces, as the secretary of the Albianese Bocciofila, Roberto Lantero also tells: «It was a very particular final compared to the previous ones. The two teams battled at the beginning and took an hour to get to 4-4, between bets and failures nobody wanted to make a mistake and the game was in perfect balance. Then the meeting center took off – comments Lantero – with the Brazilian festival that has no longer been able to find the key to the problem. At the end of the match, in addition to the cup for the first ones, we gave everyone a prize ». The meeting center was made up of the bowler Claudio Tirassa and the pointers Francesco Tripodi, Franco Vettorato and Gianfranco Castaldelli.
