But the 2-2 of the first leg (fourth day) coincided with the first point in the championship of Alexandria: there was the Eurogol of Scazzola which was followed by a victory with Massese at home for 1-0 while at the return in 1 -1 final, Scazzola scored again, on a penalty.
In short, in that unfortunate year Alexandria still obtained two positive results with shoulder pads. Good wishes from the past, in short, in the precedents with the Ferrara team and even more so if we consider that Saturday’s match will be directed by Matteo Marcenaro: the whistle has linked his name to one of the most beautiful moments in the history of the grays, the promotion to B in the return of C’s playoff final at Moccagatta with Padova, with Rubin’s penalty that sent the club to Serie B after 46 years.
