More than 100 tennis players at the start (between males and females) in the 2021 edition of the Trofeo Comune di Valperga, an Open tournament organized by Tc Laghi, with the final act on Sunday 12 September. On the clay courts of the Rolandi locality, among the men triumph of the seeding number one, Pietro Rondoni (2.2), who by 6-3 7-5 got the better of the third seed, Manuel Salvo Mouilleron (2.4). For the Vercelli champion of the Roman club of Parioli, victory in the semifinal 6-3 6-2 against Gianluca Bellezza (number four classified 2.4), while on the other side 6-4 6-3 of Mouilleron at number two, on 2.3 Alessio Demichelis. In the section reserved for 2.7 and 2.8 classified Alberto Costa (2.7), Matteo Godizzi (2.7), Pietro Moine (2.7) and Noah Quendoz (2.7) passed the round. Special mention in the main draw for the home favorite Andrea Ceccarello (2.7), who won two more matches before surrendering to Demichelis in the quarterfinals, and to the excellent Alessandro Bussano, who reached the final draw starting from 3.1. Among the third category to continue the adventure with him were the local standard bearer Stefano Guglielmetti (3.2) and Matteo Andreis (3.2). Among the fourth category, Daniele Perona (4.1 who overtook the number one Alberto De Simone (4.1) for 6-2 6-0, Enrico Giovanni Aimino (4.1) and Alessandro Utino (4.1). Worth mentioning the performances of Federico Moro, that from 4.3 he imposed himself with a double 6-3 to the number two seed Alessio Divizia (4.1) and of the 4.5 Eugenio Tommaso, who for 6-1 6-2 overcame the 4.1 and third favorite of the eve Andrea Quirigoni.
Among the women in a final between very young victory of the Ligurian Ginevra Parentini Vallega Montebruno (2.5 and seeded No. 5) who beat 6-3 6-1 the 2.4 Turin Maddalena Giordano (number 3 of the tournament). Among the Third category the 3.3 Camilla Roano (TC Sale) won 6-2 6-4 on the same ranking Chiara Bonafini while in the fourth scoreboard with a double 6-3 Irene Piano of the Tc Laghi subverts the predictions of the eve to the detriment of the Stefania Denozza from Casello (4.2). –
