In the 21-22 playoffs, Irving averaged 21.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game, while shooting 44.% from the field and 38.1% from three-point range. The Nets were swept out in the first round of the playoffs.

“The last couple of years, both the team’s expectations and the external environment, have had a terrible impact on the Nets’ players,” Marks said.
