PORDENONE
Sky has announced the days and times in which the 19th and 20th rounds will be held, originally scheduled for yesterday and Wednesday 29 December but subsequently postponed for the Covid-19 emergency.
The Pordenone championship will resume on Sunday 16 January from the match in Lignano with Lecce. The kick-off is set for 4.15 pm. Then Tedino’s team will visit Perugia on Saturday 22 January. Also in this case the race will always start at 4.15 pm. The cadet tournament will then stop. The break already scheduled for the weekend of 29-30 January will be respected. It will resume – with times and days to be defined – on the weekend of 5-6 February.
Just February will see a real tour de force with six meetings scheduled in just over twenty days. By the way, there are two midweek rounds (fourth and sixth day of the second round). The lizards will face Spal (al Teghil), Parma (al Tardini), Cittadella (in Lignano), Reggina (al Granillo), Monza (al Teghil) and Vicenza (al Menti): in a month, with a team that will probably be revolutionized from the market, Pordenone can rewrite the history of its championship.
Meanwhile, Tedino’s group will resume on Sunday 16 January with Lecce. The Salento, on Thursday 13 January at Via Del Mare, will be the first to take the field in 2022. In fact, they will dispute the recovery of the 18th round with Vicenza (time to be defined). The match was postponed following the two Covid-19 positive cases that emerged in the Giallorossi team group. The number of infections in Lecce has not increased, while Vicenza has had a boom in cases: 13, as of yesterday, the positives detected among the Venetians. In addition to the meeting between the teams of Baroni and Brocchi, the match between Benevento and Monza will also take place, a challenge not played due to the positivity identified among the Brianza players. The 19th round will open instead on Friday 14 with the match between Ternana and Ascoli (at 20.30). The last match is scheduled for 6.30 pm on Sunday 16 between Vicenza and Alessandria. The 20th round will begin on Friday 21 with Parma-Frosinone (at 20.30) and will end on Sunday 23 with the match between Lecce and Cremonese (at 18.30). It will be the only match on Sunday together with the Venetian derby between Vicenza and Cittadella (at 4.15 pm). –
