The Italian Fitness Challenge sporting event is scheduled between Campo Coni and PalaRavizza from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th June. “It is the new all – in formula, competition, aggregation, teaching and promotion of the territory, of fitness, Italian and European – explains Barbara Talini, one of the organizers of the event during the press conference to present the event in the board room at Palazzo Mezzabarba -: about 300 members who come from all over Italy and abroad, with an age ranging from very young up to 50 years old, will compete both individually and as a team ».

The councilor for sport Pietro Trivi, who sponsored the event, adds: “The last time it was held was two years ago at the Cus Pavia field and it was a success for participants, but also for the promotion of Pavia, for the spirit of aggregation and for the involvement of the athletes ». Tourism councilor Roberta Marcone underlines the importance of such an event for tourism: “We have created, in agreement with the organizers, a path that, through QCode technology, allows you to discover the most significant monuments of Pavia” .

It will start on Friday 3 June at 2 pm to finish on Sunday 5 June at 5 pm.

«In addition to competitions – adds the organizer of the event Talini – great importance will be reserved for functional fitness workshops held by some of the best coaches, without forgetting correct nutrition. In the race there will be some of the strongest national athletes and finally we will also pay attention to natural and ecological products ». Admission will be free for all three days.

«The technical characteristics of the event are the same as in the previous editions which were a success – explains the coach Matteo Piran – certain things have changed, we did a first screening of the participants, who first had to pass tests. In this year’s edition, a novelty are the two distinct competition fields, as will the tests, all spectacular, that the participants will have to face. They range from weight lifting to gymnastics passing through running ». –
